Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public access to many court records under Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 and the state's public-records laws, but the hard part is figuring out which office or system holds the file you want. Franklin County District Court handles district civil and criminal matters, while the Magistrate Division handles many misdemeanor, traffic, family, juvenile, probate, guardianship, conservatorship, and small-claims matters. The Franklin County Clerk of Court handles local court records, the County Clerk/Auditor/Recorder handles recording and marriage-license work, and the Sheriff's Office handles local law-enforcement and custody questions. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee notes, and request steps for those offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
